Fire extinguishers and fire extinguishing agents
The demands and tests of fire extinguishing agents and fire fighting equipment are mainly specified in international standards (EN, IMO, ICAO, UL, ISO) and partly in national standards (DIN, NF, BS). According to the instructions for use and operation there are proofs of conformity necessary for the particular fire protection product. The accredited and the officially accepted test body for fire extinguishing agents and fire fighting equipment carries out the necessary type tests and production inspections and accompanies the customers until a corresponding product certification (permission).
